Driver Attention Alert system analyzes driver steering behavior to provide an alert if signs of drowsiness or inattention are detected. DAA system adapts to each individual driver. DAA monitors steering input patterns (using steering angle sensors) during a period of driving to establish a baseline. It continuously compares subsequent driving patterns to a baseline using a statistical analysis of steering correction errors. If it detects driving behavior consistent with a drowsy driver, the system uses an audible chime sound and displays the amber coffee cup with a message reading, “Take a break?” in the vehicle’s information display. The DAA includes logic to help address false detection, road curvatures, lane changes, braking and even poor road conditions. The system automatically resets when the engine is turned off. It can also be turned off by the driver if desired. There are many similar systems that use different technology such as: Vehicle Position in Lane Monitoring, Driver Eye/Face Monitoring. There are different commercial names for the system for different car manufacturer as: Driver drowsiness detection, Driver Alert Control, Fatigue detection system, Attention Assist, Active Driving Assistant, Driver Alert, Lane Departure Warning System.....etc.	Driver Attention Alert	DAA
نظام مراقبة يقظة السائق, يقوم بتحليل سلوك السائق في توجيه السيارة ويقوم بتنبيهه في حالة وجود أي بوادر للنعاس أو الغفلة. النظام يضبط للتعامل مع سائقي السيارة المختلفين. يقوم النظام بمراقبة مدخلات نمط التوجيه (باستخدام حساسات زوايا التوجيه) خلال فترة من الزمن يتمكن بعدها من وضع نمط معياري. يقوم النظام باستمرار بمقارنة أنماط القيادة مع النمط المعياري عن طريق التحليل الإحصائي لتصحيح أخطاء التوجيه. في حالة اكتشاف نمط للقيادة يتفق مع نعاس السائق, يقوم النظام بتنبيه السائق برنين مسموع ويقوم بعرض فنجان قهوة مع رسالة تحذيرية "خذ قسط من الراحة". النظام يتضمن تحليل منطقي للمساعدة في الكشف عن الظواهر الزائفة التي قد تدل على نعاس السائق مثل انحناءات الطريق, وتغير المسار, والفرامل, وكذلك حالة الطريق السيئة. النظام يتم إعادة ضبطه تلقائيا عند إطفاء المحرك. ويمكن أيضا غلق النظام يدويا من قبل السائق. يوجد العديد من الانظمة المشابهة التي تستخدم تقنيات مختلفة مثل: مراقبة وضع السيارة في المسار, مراقبة ملامح السائق والعينين. وتختلف مسمياتها التجارية من مصنع سيارات لأخر مثل: مراقبة نعاس السائق, نظام التحكم في يقظة السائق, نظام متابعة التعب, نظام المساعدة في اليقظة, النظام الفعال للقيادة, نظام تحذير السائق, نظام تحذير مغادرة المسار ..... الخ.	مراقبة يقظة السائق
