“R” is an optional letter indicating construction of the fabric carcass of the tire, which is generally molded into the sidewall of the tire. A radial tire (more properly, a radial-ply tire) is a particular design of vehicular tire (in British English, tyre). In this design, the cord plies are arranged at 90 degrees to the direction of travel, or radially (from the center of the tire). With only radial cords, a radial tire would not be sufficiently rigid at the contact with the ground. To add further stiffness, the entire tire is surrounded by additional belts oriented closer to the direction of travel, but usually at some "spiral" angle. These belts can be made of steel (hence the term steel-belted radial), polyester, or Aramid fibers such as Twaron or Kevlar.	Radial tire	R
الرمز "أر" هو حرف اختياري يبين طريقة بناء/ إنشاء هيكل الإطار, غالبا ما تكون مصبوبة على جدار الإطار. وهي تعني أن هيكل الإطارات مصنع من طبقات/ طيات ذات خيوط قطرية, الإطار القطري, هو بمسمى أصح (أطار ذو نسيج/ خيوط قطري). في هذا التصميم, فإن طبقات النسيج من الخيوط تكون مرصوصة بزاوية 90 درجة/ عمودية على اتجاه حركة الإطار, أو قطرية (بالنسبة لمركز الإطار). مع بناء الإطار بتلك الخيوط القطرية, فإن الإطار لن يكون جاسئ بما فيه الكفاية بمنطقة اتصاله بالأرض. لإضافة مزيد من الصلابة, فإن الإطار يحاط بأكمله عن طريق أحزمة إضافية تكون في اتجاه مقارب إلى اتجاه الحركة, ولكن في العادة يكون لها زاوية دوامية. هذه الأحزمة يمكن قد تصنع خيوطها من الصلب, بوليستر, أو ألياف الأرميد.	إطار قطري/ شعاعي

“B” is an optional letter indicating construction of the fabric carcass of the tire, which is generally molded into the sidewall of the tire. Bias tire (or cross ply) construction utilize body ply cords that extend diagonally from bead to bead, usually at angles in the range of 30 to 40 degrees, with successive plies laid opposing angles forming a crisscross pattern to which the tread is applied. This outdated technology is still made in limited quantities today. Bias tires are still popular on trailers due to their weight carrying ability and resistance to swaying when towed. Bias tires also remain popular for aircraft tires as they afford more stability at higher speeds and have stronger sidewalls	Bias tire	B
الرمز "بي" هو حرف اختياري يبين طريقة بناء/ إنشاء هيكل الإطار, غالبا ما تكون مصبوبة على جدار الإطار. وهي تعني أن هيكل الإطارات مصنع من طبقات/ طيات ذات خيوط مائلة, هذه الطريقة لتصنيع الإطارات تستخدم خيوط تمتد بشكل مائل من حلقة تثبيت الإطار بالجنط من ناحية  إلى الحلقة بالناحية الأخرى, في العادة تكون الخيط مائلة بزاوية مائلة من 30 إلى 40 درجة, مع طبقات متعاقبة بشكل متقاطع. لا تزال تلك الإطارات ذات التقنية القديمة تتنج إلى يومنا هذا. هذه الإطارات ما زالت مرغوبة في المقطورات نظرا لمقدرتها على تحمل وزن عالي, وكذلك لعدم حدوث انحراف لها في عملية جر المقطورة. كما زالت تحظي بشعبية عالية للاستخدام بإطارات الطائرات حيث إنها توفر اتزان عند السرعات العالية, ولها جوانب أقوى.	إطار ذو طبقات/ طيات من خيوط مائلة
