The
2006 Buick Lucerne is an all-new front-wheel-drive sedan. The
Lucerne is the first Buick to offer Magnetic Ride Control with
StabiliTrak to improve the ride and handling. The Lucerne will also
offer remote start, heated washer fluid, rain-sensing wipers, a DVD map
navigation system, heated/cooled seats, and a 245-watt Harman Kardon
audio system. This new model also marks the return of V8 power to
a Buick sedan. The available 4.6-liter V8 delivers 275 horsepower, while
the 3.8-liter V6 is rated at 195 horsepower. The interior of the Lucerne
will feature Buick's Quiet Tuning, which reduces unwanted noise in the
cabin. Six airbags will be standard.
