When the
PT Cruiser hit dealer showrooms in early 2000, the PT Cruiser gets
new front grille with the Chrysler winged badge and chrome
accents, new headlamps that feature a scallop along the bottom edge and
new round fog lamps. The grille no longer comes to a point, and now has
a closer resemblance to the larger Chrysler Pacifica. Tail lights are
now clear and integrate the white backup light. The interior is all
new, with larger gauges, a redesigned center stack featuring
rotating air vents and a Chrysler signature analog clock. Power
has been increased in the turbocharged GT trims, now up to 230
horsepower. |
