The new Ram gets an
all-new frame and suspension, redesigned fascia and grille and a
completely new interior. This also will be the first pickup truck to
feature Chrysler's Multi-Displacement System (MDS) with the
5.7-liter HEMI V8. MDS seamlessly alternates between 4-cylinder mode
when less power is needed and V8 mode when more power is in demand.
Chrysler claims that this can improve fuel economy by as much as 20
percent under certain driving conditions. When the engine is running
on all cylinders, output is an impressive 345 horsepower. |
