Lexus GS 430 back
<< >>
The GS introduces a fresh styling direction for Lexus called L-Finesse, which is represented by simplicity in design with a look of understated luxury.
The 2006 GS is offered as the GS 300, powered by a new 245-horsepower 3.0-liter V6; and as the GS 430, powered by the Lexus 4.3-liter V8, which is rated at 300 horsepower. The GS 300 will offer all-wheel drive for the first time and will also feature the Lexus Vehicle Dynamic Management system.
The second model to feature this L-Finesse style will be the new IS. With a strong family resemblance to the new GS, the IS will be available as the IS 250 with a 2.5-liter V6 or the IS 350, which will sport a 3.5-liter V6 producing more than 300 horsepower. The IS 250 will also be available with full-time all-wheel drive. A number of new safety and convenience features will be available on the new IS, including an Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS), Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, a Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) system, ventilated front seats and Smart Access keyless entry with pushbutton start.
