Mitsubishi Eclipse back
<< >>

The new sports coupe delivers the dynamic, athletic styling that was promised last year when Mitsubishi showed the Eclipse Concept-E and backs it up with a 260-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 for the Eclipse GT, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission. The value-priced Eclipse GS will get a 162-horsepower 2.4-liter engine. Inside, passengers will find high-back sport seats with aggressive bolsters and integrated headrests, a four-spoke steering wheel and a stylized instrument panel with soft-touch material and motorcycle-inspired gauges backlit with ice-blue light.

Meanwhile, Mitsubishi will return to the pickup truck market with the all-new Raider. The Raider is based on the Dodge Dakota; however, the styling is distinctly Mitsubishi. Available in either extended cab our 4-door crew cab with 2WD or 4WD, the Raider will be powered by either a 210-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 or a 230-horsepower 4.7-liter V8.
